ProCook is celebrating after picking up an award at the ECMOD Direct Commerce Awards 2018.
For the third year running ProCook scooped the coveted prize in the Annual Sales of £15-30m B2C category. Founder Daniel O’Neill said:
“We’re delighted to win a Direct Commerce award for the 3rd year in a row. We’ve made strong progress again this year and to receive this honour again is recognition of all our hard work. We’re extremely proud to have taken home this prize and want to thank our entire team for their incredible efforts.”

The award follows another successful year for the brand, boosted by strong online sales and a continued consumer appetite for high quality cookware.
Overall sales for the financial year 2017/18 were up 20% including a 10% like-for-like increase, taking the total revenue for the business to over £25m. The growth has been attributed to a strong performance in their eCommerce channels which grew by 43%. Building on their expansion into Germany, the kitchenware brand entered the French market via Amazon.fr in April 2017, and began shipping to 6 further European countries toward the latter half of the year. The company worked hard to address challenges being faced across the retail sector, opening 7 new stores during the period which contributed to an overall sales increase of 11%. CEO Stephen Sanders said:
“This strong level of progress is particularly pleasing after a very tough 1st quarter which saw overall growth at only 5% and -3% like-for-like. It shows the ongoing strength of the Brand and justifies the investment across the whole of the business”.
We are incredibly proud to have picked up the award at the ECMOD Direct Commerce Awards 2018 and we would like to say a big thank you to the judging panel for recognising all of our hard work in 2017. We’re working harder than ever to deliver great customer experiences both online and in store while expanding our product range, reducing our impact on the environment and growing the business so we will all be keeping our fingers crossed for the ceremony next year where we can hopefully pick up the award for the fourth year running!
