It’s been a bright start to the festive period this week for retailer, ProCook who reported great results for the Black Friday trading period.
The Gloucestershire based retailer has gone from strength to strength recently and the trajectory continued with another record-breaking Black Friday period. Echoing reports of stronger consumer confidence over Black Friday from the retail sector the company’s bricks and mortar channel achieved an impressive 14% increase in like-for-like sales & their eCommerce sales up almost a quarter on last year, both contributing an overall company like-for-like growth of 20%.
Total company sales were up 40% on the same period in 2018 assisted by the opening of 14 new stores across the UK including a flagship store in Bath and their 51st store in the recently established O2 Icon Shopping Centre in Greenwich.
