We’re saying a big thank you to the NHS in Gloucestershire this week (it’s where our HQ is based!) by donating reusable Life’s a Beach water bottles to 1,600 front-line workers across the Cheltenham and Gloucestershire hospitals. The staff benefitting from the water bottles include critical care and theatres teams, emergency room staff and the respiratory nurses; all of whom have been providing care for patients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
The donated water bottles have also been shared across other hospital areas too including teams working with patients who are receiving cancer treatment as well as drivers, switchboard staff and waste disposal personnel; with all staff across the hospitals playing a vital role in keeping local patients safe.
ProCook founder, Daniel O’Neill said:
We wanted give something to Gloucestershire NHS staff to say thanks for the fantastic job they are all doing looking after us during this pandemic. We feel it’s important to support both the frontline workers and all the ‘unsung heroes’ of the NHS as it takes an incredible effort throughout the organisation to keep things running smoothly.
A drinks bottle is a small gesture but one we are happy to offer and hopefully it will help keep the teams going on their long shifts. Most importantly we want to say from ProCook, a big ‘Thank You’ to everyone who works for the NHS in Gloucestershire. Most of our head office staff live in the area and are directly benefitting from their hard work.
