Mulled Cider served in a ProCook Cast Iron Casserole

Spiced Mulled Cider

We've all tried mulled wine at Christmas, but have you ever sipped on a glass of warm spiced mulled cider on a crisp autumn evening?

  • 400 ml apple juice
  • 75 g dark brown sugar
  • litre Henry Westons Cloudy Vintage Cider
  • Peel of 1 orange
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tbsp ground allspice
  • 1 medium orange slices
  • 1 medium apple slices


  • Add the apple juice, dark brown sugar and cider into a casserole dish. Pour in the orange peel, cloves, cinnamon sticks and ground allspice and transfer to the hob.
  • Mix and gently simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add the orange and apple slices and continue to mull for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and serve immediately.
