The Martini is world-famous and features in many iconic films and books, but the big question still lies… do you take it shaken or stirred?
Place your martini glass and gin in the freezer and chill for at least half an hour
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the gin and vermouth
Stir vigorously for 30 seconds touching the shaker as little as possible
Strain the cocktail into a martini glass
Olives: skewer a couple of olives onto a cocktail stick and place on the edge of the glass
Lemon peel: Run around the rim of the glass and then place into the glass
