Instructions
  1. Add 4 of the eggs to a saucepan of boiling water and allow to simmer for between 3 and 3 and a half minutes.
  2. Remove immediately and put in a bowl of iced water and slightly crack the shells.
  3. Once completely cooled, gently peel and put aside.
  4. Mix the sausage-meat, ham, pepper, herbs and stuffing in a bowl and then shape into 4 equal sized balls.
  5. Condense one of the balls between clingfilm until flattened. Flour the cooked eggs then, using the clingfilm, wrap the sausage-meat around the eggs until entirely enclosed.
  6. Beat the final egg and put on a plate. Then put the breadcrumbs and flour on separate plates.
  7. Get the encased eggs and roll them in the flour, beaten eggs and breadcrumbs (in that order).
  8. Fry at roughly 160C until the breadcrumbs turn golden. Cook for 8-10 minutes until crispy.
  9. Dry on kitchen paper and allow to cool.
