It’s Christmas time (sort of), so get ready for yuletide songs, festive food, and, of course, mulled wine. This recipe is perfect for Christmas parties, whilst the warm & sweet taste will help keep the cold at bay!

  1. In a cast iron casserole dish, pour in the wine before adding the orange, bayleaf, sugar and spices.
  2. Warm the mixture gently on the hob until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Taste to see if the wine is sweet enough and add more sugar if required.
  4. Then, remove the casserole dish from the heat and strain into heatproof glasses.
