Instructions
  1. Mix the yeast, flour and salt in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix 300ml of hot water with the honey and oil and slowly add the mixture to the dry ingredients.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes until the dough feels less sticky.
  4. Put the bread in an oiled loaf tin.
  5. Put the tin in a large plastic food bag and allow to raise for one hour.
  6. Heat the oven to 200C.
  7. When the dough has risen and fills the tin, place the tin in the oven.
  8. Using a sharp knife, make a number of slashes across the loaf.
  9. Bake for 35 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool on a cooling rack, and tap the base of the bread – if it is cooked through, it will make a hollow sound.
  11. Allow to cool.
