Raw cacao and avocado mousse with coconut and strawberries

A delicious dairy-free vegan alternative to a nation’s favourite dessert.  Made with creamy ripe avocados and natural sweeteners it not only tastes good but will make you feel good to!

  1. Slice the avocado open vertically and remove the pit. Gently scoop the avocado out with a spoon. Make sure to keep all of the dark green flesh close to the skin as this contains the most nutrients.
  2. Break the avocado into small pieces and put in a blender. Add the cocoa powder, honey, soy or almond milk and vanilla.
  3. Blend until thick and creamy. Scoop into a bowl and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  4. Serve with sliced strawberries. This recipe is for a strong, darker chocolate mousse. For more of a milk chocolate flavour add more honey and less cocoa powder.
